We aim for this website to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. That means a usable keyboard path, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, text alternatives, reduced-motion support and layouts that work on small screens.
What we have done
- A skip link, landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
- The directory, filters, pagination and forms work without JavaScript.
- The animated constellation can be paused, stops automatically if your system asks for reduced motion, and has a text alternative in the directory and the map’s list view.
- Videos never autoplay and load only on request.
- Resources have an accessible web version in addition to a printable PDF.
Known limitations
- The downloadable PDFs are not tagged for screen readers. Please use the web version of each resource.
- Some profile images are placeholder artwork with short descriptions.
- Third-party video players are outside our control.
